The general Administration 0f Examinations

The Organizational Structure of the General Admin. of Examinations :
1- The director General of the administration.
2- Deputy of the director general .
3- Two sections : (Examination’s Directorate)&(Evaluation Directorate)
And each section divides into departments to accomplish works entrusted
to it.

Evaluations Council:

 Be pursuant to the provisions of article (22) of the General Education Planning & organizing law , for the year 2001 the council authorizations :
1- Set the regulations & rules and the procedures of the Secondary School Certificate Examination.
2- Put the general policies for the development & modernalization of the
examinations , and set the result criterion measuring methods.
3- identify the compulsory & option subjects and limitation of weight &
No. of papers
4- Make the conditions of sitting for the Secondary School Certificate
Examination.
5- Pronounce the starting day of sitting for the Secondary School Certificate Examination.
6- Approve and pronounce the result of the Secondary School Certificate Examination.
7- Choose the permanent & durable assisting technical committees.
Questions Bank :

1- Set special criterion to measure and evaluate the different levels of
knowledge, skills & sentimental aspects of the secondary school
student.
2- Prepare and apply tests and produce examinations of the subjects
online with the objectives of the curriculum.
3- Follow-up the qualitative level of the secondary school examination.
4- Give advice to the related directorates in the states in process and
production of the basic education certificate examinations with
cooperation with the National Centre of Curriculum & Educational
Researches.
5- Link the administration and educational authorities in the states with
an information network.
Information Unit :

- Build an information system for the admin.
2- Follow-up the latest technical developments and modern software to be
added to information system.
3- Print out reports and indications of the admin.
Evaluation researches Unit:

1- Observe the level and the quality of education with coordination with the
related authorities. .
2- Apply scientific researches in the examination and evaluation field.
3- Apply the criterion and standard levels agreed by the admin. To provide
the decision maker with results and indications.
4- Introduce researches and scientific advice to the competent authorities.
