Targets of the
General Administration of Examinations:
1- The general goal :
Making studies and scientific researches to develop the
measurement & evaluation methods make training on to help in
fulfill the aimed functions of the educational curriculum , and
helps in building the regular and integrated personality of the
student.
2- The special goals :
* Set the suitable criterion for measuring the different
academic &
personal sides.
* Analyzing and Evaluating the Secondary School Certificate
Examination to verify its Quality & competence.
* Making researches to develop the evaluation and its tools.
* Introduce the administration skills in researches and
evaluation to
the related and beneficiary devices.
* Develop measurement regulations and educational evaluation

The cooperation with the specialized devices.
The General Administration of Examinations specializations :
Without the breach in The Republican decree No (12) of the year
200 (Specializations of the Federal Ministries) and without the
breach in the General Education Planning & organizing law of the
year 2001, the General Administration of Examinations &
Evaluation is the only authorized and responsible of measurement
systems (Exams or any others) and also responsible of the
educational evaluation and authorized of the following :
1- The setting and the procedure of the Secondary School
Certificate
Examination.
2- Adjust and control the performance level and collecting of
students in
The basic and the Secondary School Certificates .
3- Extract the statistical indicators of the examination’s
result.
4- Diagnose , analyze & evaluate the results of the phase exams
of the
general education.
The General Admin. of Examinations can also do the following
:
1- Process & prepare researches and evaluation studies in the
educational field .
2- Hold conferences & seminars in evaluation and educational
measurement with the cooperation with the specialized devices in
the educational fields to push forward the educational process.
3- Print circulations & educational reports.
